Outside my window, it's a winter wonderland. Deer nibbling the evergreen boughs down by our pond. The pond frozen, the fish, turtles and muskrats settled in for their long winter snooze.

I've already completed my story for the next compilation with JD Robb, THE LOST, which will be published in November 2009. In my novella, LEGACY, a young woman journeys to Ireland and meets a stranger who will turn her world upside down. While untangling a lifetime of lies, she will discover her true legacy, soul-stirring love.

I've also finished writing the first book in my next three-book series, FOOL'S GOLD, for Grand Central Publishing.  

DESTINY, Book 1, brings three estranged cousins together for the funeral of their grandfather, Coot McCord, described by the folks in the town of Gold Fever as that 'crazy old coot'. The old man's will forces his three grandsons into a prickly truce as they take up his search for the family's lost fortune. Jesse, the eldest of the three, must also confront his lost love, Amy Parrish, who has returned to her family home to care for her father, facing a serious illness. The two will be forced to confront danger after a series of questionable accidents befall them.  I can assure you plenty of fireworks, and lots of heat, as Jesse and Amy ride a roller-coaster of emotions.  

I can't wait to begin CONSPIRACY, Book 2 and DYNASTY, Book 3.
